During my junior year of college, I studied abroad in Rabat, Morocco. It was truly the experience of a lifetime. Every day I commuted to my classes in the Medina of Rabat; the ancient part of the capital city. While living in Rabat, I furthered my journalistic skills, under SIT’s rigorous and hands-on field program. Through this program, I also traveled to varying Moroccan cities, including Marrakesh, Essaouira and Agadir. In my free time I explored these fascinating and cultural locations. Taking as many photos as I could, my goal was to recreate the feeling of these places, and the beautiful atmosphere they evoked. These are some of the resultant photographs, many of which have been published in Morocco World News and Reporting Morocco.
