Harrison Daley is an aspiring journalist based out of Estes Park, Colorado. In 2021, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in journalism, at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Harrison has traveled abroad extensively, and has visited a number of different countries. These countries include: Germany, Italy, Austria, Canada, England, Scotland, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal and Thailand. Harrison is fascinated by other cultures, and fueled by an overpowering sense of adventure.
During his sophomore summer of college, Harrison traveled to Thailand, to write for an expatriate magazine based out of Chiang Mai. While living in the heart of this northern Thai city, Harrison wrote 16 various articles, all of which were published in the online edition of Citylife Magazine. One of his most interesting articles was about a jazz and blues festival in rural Thailand: The Pai Jazz & Blues Festival.
During the spring semester of his junior year, Harrison traveled to Morocco. While living in Rabat, he studied culture, current affairs and journalism through SIT’s rigorous study abroad program. After completing the program, Harrison interned for Morocco World News, a local expatriate newspaper. He wrote 27 articles, all of which were published in the newspaper’s online edition.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Harrison applied to four different Master’s programs, at The University of Sheffield, King’s College London, The University of Glasgow and The University of Colorado in Boulder. He was accepted into all four programs, but ended up deciding to pursue his degree at The University of Glasgow, under their intensive Master’s in Media, Communications & International Journalism.
In September of 2023, Harrison completed his Master’s degree.
